ClassX was born in 1992 by an idea of Giovanni Pallesi and Michele Puccini, with aim of developing software for desktop video.

Since 1992 the number of products ClassX has steadily increased, and the core business has shifted mainly to the Broadcast area, where over the many years of activity, the solutions have evolved to levels of completeness, reliability and quality are hard to find even in products in higher price ranges widely. The current products range from database-driven graphics templates creation, instant on-air graphics, audio/video playout on limitless 2D/3D layers and support many different devices: BlackMagic DeckLink, BlueFish, Matrox, Dayang, Aja and NewTek Tricaster through iVGA.

ClassX OEM products has been already integrated into the most important 3rd party playouts and newsrooms systems all around the world like RAI, Mediaset and Sky in Italy, RSI in Swiss, ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation) in Germany, AlfaIsaliah in Arabia Saudi, VGTRK in Russia, BBC in UK and much more.
