Since its foundation in 1988, TTA has been contributing to the advancement of the industries by making standardising efforts and by providing testing and certifying services in the field of information and communications in Korea.

Broadcast Equipment Test Centre in TTA, in collaboration with broadcasters, cable service operators, manufacturers, universities and laboratories, has been establishing test specifications and providing testing and certifying services on broadcasting equipment, which includes broadcast video monitors, graphics/character generators, H.264 encoders, video servers, modulators, transmitters, repeaters, and professional integrated receiver decoders(IRDs). This year, we have expanded the service area to 3DTV monitors, mini DTV transmitters, A/V routers, MPEG-2 encoders, DMB repeaters, and optical transmitters.
