BFE is one of Europe’s leading creators of broadcast turnkey studio and media systems. As a product-neutral system house, we integrate systems with over 30 years of experience in delivering radio facilities, TV studios and OB vans as well as media systems in Europe, Asia and Africa. In its role as general contractor, BFE designs and builds turnkey projects implementing its in-house divisions of mechanics, joinery and electro-technics.

Around 300 employees work in specialised production fields such as software engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, joinery, assembly and quality control and provide services such as project planning, process and requirements analysis, workflow design, IT system design, installation, commissioning, testing, training and technical support. By combining audio and video technology with innovative, IT-based technologies, BFE turns customer requirements into tailor-made media production systems such as TV and radio studios, transmission lines, editing and archiving systems, OB vans and other media technology applications.

During IBC we will demonstrate the latest version of our master control system ‘KSC Commander™’ as well as the signal management system ‘KSC Manager™’ for TV and radio applications. New at IBC is our ‘KSC SILKNET Manager™’, a Signal Link Network Management System for controlling Broadcast Contribution Networks.
