NWIEE (China Northwest Research Institute of Electronic Equipment) is a professional antenna system institute engaged in research, development, design, manufacture and installation of various antenna systems.More than 10 thousand antennae with diameters ranging from 0.75 to 40 meters have been delivered since its establishment in 1969. The antennae have been widely applied in instrumentation radar, satellite tracking, telemetry and command (TT&C) stations, satellite communications earth stations,satellite remote sensing earth stations, microwave terrestrial links, radio telescopes and TVROs. The antennae are not only installed all over China but also for foreign customers such as ASIASAT TT&C stations, Andrew Corporations, Thuraya in UAE and Nigeria,etc.

NWIEE enjoys a high reputation in its customers, and accumulated valuable experience in the long period of time in the designing, manufacturing, installation, integration and testing of satellite TT&C antenna systems. Almost all satellite TT&C and TTC&M antennae in China are manufactured by NWIEE, including the first 12M 800MHz bandwidth TT&C antenna system for INTELSAT in the world, the 15m multifunction TT&C antenna system, 12m standard TT&C antenna system, two 9m TT&C antenna system for INMARSAT Beijing TT&C Station.
