At IBC2010 the leading German codec manufacturer MAYAH Communications launches the new IOCAST product family for SD/HD H.264/AVC video encoding, decoding and transcoding from/to MPEG-2.

Along with the point-to-point streaming IOCAST provides content distribution with RTP or MPEG TS over IP multicasting, also as 3GPP for mobile video platforms or optional Adobe Flash/RTMP streaming for WebTV and all types of streaming servers. Video resolutions from QCIF to Full D1 SD and for HD devices up to Full HD 1080i / 1080p.

MAYAH demonstrates its successful Audio Codec series C11 with 14 different models designed for broadcasting applications, telecommunication services, recording studios and voice artists.

Just half 19“ and 1RU, C11 provides Audio-over-IP according to EBU ACIP standard using Ethernet, 3G, Wi-Fi, BGAN. C11 also supports up to 4x ISDN and a POTS interface. In the advanced models audio recording or playback to/from a local storage media is available. Transmission formats include G.722 or MPEG Layer 2/3 and the advanced MPEG-4 HE-AACv2, AAC ELD, APT-X or uncompressed audio.

For radio reporters and TV commentators MAYAH presents the Reporter Codec SPORTY with Audio-over-IP/3G/Wi-Fi/ISDN/POTS, with recording and FTP file transfer features. Even more mobility is available with the Mobile Recorder/Codec FLASHMAN II.
