The company’s DNS (dialogue noise suppressor) range has become a standard in film and TV post, and has found numerous other uses in areas such as live-to-air broadcast and location recording. Today, the DNS 8 Live is CEDAR’s first product designed specifically for live broadcast and live sound. This offers eight channels of our latest DNS process, yet is remarkable quick and simple to use, especially when coupled to our browser-based remote control system, which runs on iPads and tablets as well as laptops and other computers.

Alongside this, we will be showing the latest version of our flagship CEDAR Cambridge workstation and the CEDAR Studio AAX (Native) suite of processes for Pro Tools. The latter of these is designed primarily for film and TV post, and offers a combination of processes to eliminate the common problems encountered in this area – background noise, buzzes, hums and clipping – as well as our unique Adaptive Limiter to control the loudness of the output.
