To celebrate its 20th year of existence, Merging will premiere a staggering list of new products:
Pyramix V7.0 MassCore with a revolutionary new I/O architecture based on Horus, a next-generation converter/stage box. Horus features MADI (both Optical and Coax), AES-EBU (up to 24 channels at 192 kHz) plus optional MIC/Line inputs of the highest quality and Line outputs, both up to a total of 24 channels Analogue input and output in a single 2U Rack.
While Horus can serve as a standard “stand-alone” converter, one of its most appealing features is to offer access to all I/O channels via a Network Layer 3 compatible link straight into (and from) the MassCore engine.
On display will also be version V2.0 of the Ovation Media Sequencer and Playout system for all Live applications, be it in Broadcast TV or Radio, Theme Parks, Museums or Theatres.
VCube V3.0 will introduce some major new highlights such as support for 10-bit DPX and major improvements to all MXF workflow. VCube is a hard disk based video player/recorder system capable of directly importing and streaming multi-layer Avid Video OMF and/or AAF Compositions either via a drive, or via direct connection to a Central Storage Network.
