Niko Waesche is a media consultant, entrepreneur and 15-year internet veteran. In late 2010, he founded GMPVC German Media Pool, a company that invests in high growth consumer businesses using an innovative media for equity barter model. Niko also is an angel investor in several internet and technology companies, such as the translation search engine Linguee.com. Previously, Niko was Executive Partner at IBM and ran the Northern European Media & Entertainment Practice. Before IBM, Niko established one of the first U.S. venture capital funds in Germany, GRP Partners. At the time, Niko was a regular columnist of the Financial Times Deutschland.
