Chief Executive Officer
Michael's job is to lead a motivated IBC team and ensure that IBC is a success for all the stakeholders. With 24 years experience in this industry, his background is in publishing and events. He holds an MBA from Leicester Business School specialising in marketing and business strategy.
Head of Exhibition
Kelli joined IBC in 2008 and brings 10 years of events experience including operational, planning, delivery and relationship management to her role as Head of Exhibitions.
Kelli leads the exhibition team implementing successful planning and execution of the exhibition.She is responsible for developing and implementing a robust customer care and communication programme to ensure that expectations of our exhibitors are met. Overseeing the smooth operational aspects of the exhibition, working closely with internal colleagues, venues and suppliers developing clear communication at all stages to deliver high quality exhibitions.
Senior Exhibition Co-ordinator
Sarah has been a member of the exhibition team for five years and works with the team to deliver a high quality, successful exhibiting experience to IBC’s exhibitors. Sarah works with the team on the production of the exhibition layout and allocation of exhibition space. Sarah is responsible for particular aspects including managing our country pavilions participation program, working with internal teams to co-ordinate delivery of projects and works closely with the venue.
Senior Exhibition Co-ordinator
Emily has been a member of the exhibition team for eight years and works with the team to deliver a high quality, successful exhibiting experience to IBC’s exhibitors. Emily works with the team on the production of the exhibition layout and allocation of exhibition space. Emily is responsible for particular aspects including IBC Content Everywhere Europe, co-ordinating the printed exhibition catalogue with our marketing team and working closely with the venue and suppliers.
Kim has been a member of the exhibition team for three years and works with the team to deliver a high quality, successful exhibiting experience to IBC’s exhibitors. Kim works with the team on the production of the exhibition layout and allocation of exhibition space. Kim is responsible in particular for delivering our bespoke meeting suites hall, working closely with our appointed suppliers and co-ordinating the exhibitor participation for IBC’s feature areas.
Leigh joined IBC in 2013 and brings three years experience and provides support to the team to deliver a high quality, successful exhibiting experience to IBC’s exhibitors. Working closely with the team, Leigh is also responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of the meeting facilities offerings to our exhibitors.

Director of Sales
Darren's role is to co-ordinate the sales and customer care programmes for IBC's ever-expanding client base.
Claire joined IBC in 2011 and is IBC’s front of house representative and first point of contact via telephone and face to face. She works to ensure the office runs effectively and efficiently all year round, and also provides a variety of support to the PA.
Jemma works with Claire as IBC’s front of house representative and first point of contact via telephone and face to face.
Louisa is jointly responsible for delivering the content of the IBC conference programme, and brings over six years’ experience in event and broadcast production. She has worked on projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Games and BBC Award shows, along with many international conferences. Louisa has broad exposure of end to end live event and conference production, content development, and event management. She is experienced in sourcing and working with a variety of VIP talent. Louisa is working closely with industry stakeholders, committee members and speakers to ensure a relevant and editorially focused programme.
Senior Operations Manager
Sophie joined IBC in 2010 and brings over ten years’ experience of the event and exhibition industry from the public and private sectors. Sophie has extensive project and programme management skills and has used these to develop and bring innovation to several integral projects throughout the organisation. Sophie also leads operationally on IBC Content Everywhere EUROPE, MENA and LATAM. Sophie manages an Operations Team of 4 to deliver the main IBC show in Amsterdam and works with suppliers, contractors and venues to maximise value and quality on a number of cross cutting projects.
Ceylan (Jay) Sakallioglu
Senior Operations Executive
Jay joined IBC in 2012 and brings with her over five years of event experience within a not-for-profit and commercial environment. Jay manages a variety of cross cutting projects, implementing efficient systems and processes to ensure IBC events are proactively planned, managed and delivered. Jay also provides operational support to internal project teams to deliver IBC’s Feature Areas for IBC Europe including the Content Everywhere Hub and download walls.
Rebecca joined IBC in 2012 and brings over four year’s events experience having worked both as a freelance Operations Assistant and an Events Executive at Brand Events. Rebecca manages a wide range of operational projects while also providing support to internal project teams to deliver the Rising Stars and Leaders’ Summit events. She works with a number of stakeholders to implement innovative and creative solutions on a number of cross cutting projects for IBC2014. In 2013 she also successfully delivered the operations for the IBC London Technology Booster, a key project within the Business Development Portfolio.
Jenny joined IBC in 2011 and provides vital customer support to attendees at all IBC events. She is the account manager for the registration project. Jenny develops the system year on year by working with the core team to improve and streamline the process.
Amy joined IBC in March 2014 as a member of the Operations Team. She previously worked as an Events Co-ordinator for a large not-for-profit membership organisation.
Amy manages a range of operational Projects and works closely with the Content Team on operational aspects of the conference, including the Technology Stream, IBC Rising Stars and Leaders' Summit. She is responsible for speaker liaison and the coordination of travel and accommodation.

Head of Marketing
Kelly joined IBC in 2008, she brings over 11 years of marketing experience to her role as Head of Marketing at IBC including a high level of knowledge in digital marketing and a business and marketing degree from DeMontfort University's Business School. Reporting directly to the CEO, Kelly takes overall responsibility for the creation, management and delivery of IBC's strategic marketing and communications to the industry worldwide. As part of her role she leads the strategic marketing for the IBC Exhibition & Conference, IBC Leaders' Summit, IBC Rising Stars and for IBC's new global series of events IBC Content Everywhere in Europe, MENA and LATAM. Kelly also project manages the IBC Awards, IBC App, IBC Daily News and is the Executive Producer of IBC TV News. Kelly also manages an in-house marketing team of 5.
Assistant Marketing Manager
Amanda joined IBC in 2010 to support Kelly and the team in delivering a high quality event marketing campaign for IBC’s Exhibition, Conference and the IBC London Technology Booster. She brings over 7 years of experience and marketing and graphic design degree from Leeds University and has an excellent technical knowledge of marketing systems. She is responsible for co-ordinating and managing the IBC website and its content, IBC App, Interactive Map, Social Media, Conference programme. She also co-ordinates IBC’s editorial, IBC press releases and all of the online and offline conference marketing materials.
Senior Marketing Executive
With a marketing degree from the University of South Africa, Carol supports Kelly and the team in delivering a high quality event marketing campaign for IBC’s Exhibition and Conference, IBC Leaders’ Summit and Rising Stars. She is responsible for co-ordinating and managing IBC’s supporter relationship, IBC Exhibition’s online and offline marketing materials and she is instrumental in organising the IBC Awards and assisting in the co-ordination of the IBC Daily C-level editorial and photography.
Senior Markeitng Executive
With a degree in Business Studies and Marketing from Massey University, Julia supports Kelly and the team in delivering a high quality event campaign for the new IBC Content Everywhere events in Europe, MENA and LATAM. She brings excellent experience of integrated online and offline marketing campaigns and will be responsible for co-ordinating and driving our campaigns forward in these key regions.
With a PR degree from the University of Central Lancashire, Antonia supports Kelly and the team in delivering a high quality event marketing campaign for IBC’s Exhibition and Conference and the Leaders' Summit programme. She is responsible for co-ordinating the IBC contra press relationships, sponsorship fulfilment, research and data management.

Director of Finance
A fully qualified chartered accountant with 30 years' experience, Glenn has been with IBC for 12 years and is responsible for the IBC budget and all other financial matters. He also sits on the IBC Board as company secretary.
Accounts Supervisor and Credit Controller
Stacey is responsible for encouraging our customers to make their payments within IBC's generous terms. She also provides assistance to the rest of the finance team as needed.
Beth joined IBC in 2009 to support the director of finance in the day-to-day operation of the finance function, including preparing the management accounts and assisting with the annual financial statements and the audit.
Amy has been with IBC for six years and is responsible for the sales ledger, including sales invoicing, dealing with payments and customer queries.
Andrea joined IBC in 1999 and has good background knowledge of IBC and its show history. Andrea is mainly responsible for purchasing, which involves paying all suppliers and expenses, and ensuring all purchase ledger accounts are paid within relevant payment terms.

Project Management Team
IBC Project Manager
Tamsin has worked at IBC for over 7 years, after 6 years as an integral part of the Operations team Tamsin has crossed over into project management across the whole organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, Tamsin manages the IBC Content Everywhere project for EUROPE, MENA and LATAM. Tamsin also manages internal project teams to deliver IBC’s Feature Areas for IBC Europe as well as developing new concepts, innovations and improvements year on year.
