With over 250 product categories from acquisition to workflow that chart every area involved in producing, managing and distributing content in media and entertainment, IBC2011 hosted over 1,300 exhibitors in the RAI’s thirteen carefully themed and easy-to-navigate halls. Visiting the IBC2011 Exhibition allowed attendees to gauge an idea of what the industry has to offer, develop distribution channels, explore new market sectors, and network with your peers.

- IBC Certified Training: IBC2011 presented you and your staff the chance to learn and become certified on Apple and Avid software. The programme was produced by FMC's world renowned team of certified instructors and all hosted on-site at the RAI
- The IBC Big Screen Experience: hosted presentations and conference sessions on the latest in cinema technology, as well as offering free screenings of the latest technical advances in cinema – IBC2011 attendees saw an amazing Saturday Night Movie screening of Transformers 3:Dark of Moon – in stereoscopic Dolby 3D and Dolby 7.1 ‘Courtesy of Paramount Pictures International’. The Monday Night Showcase this year included an amazing extended trailer of James Cameron’s Titanic 3D and Flying Monsters in 3D courtesy of Lightstorm Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox
- IBC Awards: celebrated the very best within the industry, awarding technical excellence with the Innovation Awards and outstanding contributions to the industry with the International Honour for Excellence and the Judges Prize
- IBC Production Village: The IBC Production Village featured a professional standard studio set for a rare chance to get hands-on experience and expert advice on cutting edge acquisition technologies
- The IBC Connected World: Brought together the leading technologies and companies in connected devices exploring mobile and IPTV
- Future Zone and New Technology Campus: where the future of the industry was on show today and only the most ground-breaking research was demonstrated
