The IBC Connected World - Hall 13
The IBC Connected World, in association with BPL Broadcast Ltd and IT Europa, reflects the explosive change sweeping the industry driven by the exponential rise of internet connected devices. Established business strategies are being up-ended by web connected content delivery platforms, turning the viewer’s role from passive receptor to active selector of media.
IBC has an enviable track record in presenting new innovations and facilitating debate on the issues challenging the electronic media industry. In 2011 attendees flocked to the IBC Connected World eager to meet the application developers, content providers and new technology companies revolutionising tomorrow’s media industry.
Within the IBC Connected World this year, we presented the latest innovations in mobile devices and assessed their impact on the creation, management and delivery of broadcast ‘content everywhere’. Plus attendees could find groundbreaking IPTV applications and pioneering technologies that are driving content over-the-top into the home.
Exhibition Business Briefings
Integral to the IBC Connected World are the popular free-admission Exhibition Business Briefings. Within this focused series of sessions exhibitors of any size can reach out to delegates keen to hear at first hand how the issues arising from the convergence of consumer electronics devices and IP connectivity will affect them.
The agenda is set by the participating companies, and reflects the latest technical, regulatory, marketing and business trends. Extensive promotion by IBC, BPL and IT Europa, make the Exhibition Business Briefings a prominent and topical highlight of the IBC Exhibition experience, adding value for exhibitors and visitors alike.
