What are the Papers and Posters?

The IBC Technical Papers and Posters are the foundation of the highly respected IBC Conference. They are rigorously tested for originality and clarity of thought and they showcase and progress advances which benefit the entire industry.

The IBC Technical Papers have become world-renowned for their up-to-the-minute reports and presentations on leading-edge technologies and their applications.

IBC Technical Posters provide a medium which is more appropriate for publicising detailed or complex technologies and provide an opportunity to make more personal contact with a smaller specialised audience on the show floor.

Competition for inclusion is intense and it is the role of IBC’s independent Technical Papers Committee to peer review every proposal and select only those which they believe to be the most innovative and thought-provoking.

How can I get involved?

Unfortunately the deadline has now passed for IBC to receive Technical Paper and Poster entries for the IBC2013 Conference. The call for IBC2014 Technical Papers and Posters will be launched in January 2014.

IBC welcome's entries from every direction, whether you are a professional or a professor, a member of an R&D team, working alone or within a global brand and from across any part of the broadcast, electronic media and communications fields.

The authors of successful synopses will be invited by the Technical Papers Committee to prepare full papers for a second peer review. Full papers will then be selected for publication in the IBC Conference proceedings and authors invited to make a 20 minute presentation at the conference in September.
