    Ray Snoddy 

    Raymond Snoddy is a UK-based freelance journalist, who presents the BBC television accountability programme Newswatch and writes regularly for a variety of publications after being media editor of The Times for seven years. Before moving to The Times he was a reporter on the Financial Times for 19 years, writing chiefly about media and communication issues.

    He has presented television series on the media and has made documentaries for radio and television. In print he has contributed regular columns for Marketing Week and Television, and his books include The Good, The Bad and the Unacceptable on press standards and Greenfinger on Michael Green and Carlton Communications.

    Born in Larne in County Antrim, he was educated at Queens University Belfast and the Open University. He was awarded the OBE in 2000.
