Janet Gardner

A founding partner in the Perspective Media Group, Janet Gardner has more than twenty years experience in media management and file-based technology in strategic planning as well as large scale applications development for broadcast and entertainment. Janet spearheads the Group's strategic studies and along with Perspective Media Group's senior partners help clients move forward with file-based adoption, with the underlying workflow, organizational and technology infrastructure changes required.
 
An active participant and leader in the entertainment, media management, object oriented analysis, design and database fields, Janet is a frequent speaker, track chair and workshop lead at notable conferences such as SMPTE, Henry Stewart DAM Summit, Seybold, Content World, OOPSLA and others. Janet was honored as one of the Top Ten New Media Executives for 2001 by Electronic Media Magazine based on her strength in merging available media management technologies with business workflow. Janet received her Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture from Ball State University.
