    Peter Centen

    Peter G.M. Centen holds a B.Sc., a Cum Laude M.Sc. and a Ph.D.

    Peter started his career when he joined the R&D department of Philips Digital Video Systems in Breda, The Netherlands. For many years now he is involved in the development of HDTV cameras and switchable SDTV cameras at the R&D department of Thomson Broadcast Solutions. In 2003 he was an EMMY recipient for his work on HD-DPM. He has published numerous journal and conference articles.

    He is Chief Scientist Imaging in the camera R&D department of Grass Valley Nederland.

    Peter is member of the IEEE and SMPTE
