Nick Bell
Job Title: Co-Founder Company Name: Quick.tv Country: UNITED KINGDOM

Nick Bell is one of the UK’s leading young entrepreneurs. He is best known for setting up a group of websites during the dot.com boom and earning almost a million pounds through the sale of Teenfont.com the day after he sat his last GCSE exam. At just 24 years old, Nick has already successfully set-up and exited four businesses in markets ranging from video conferencing to spray tanning. He is currently Chief of Innovation at broadcast start-up Quick.tv.
After completing the million-pound sale of Teenfront.com Nick unusually chose to continue with his school education. He had an office of 20 people located conveniently 20 metres from the school gates, but after six months of asking to be excused from class to lead a conference call or talk to his finance director, he finally chose to devote himself to business full-time.
Nick’s school was supportive throughout his time juggling homework and commercial commitments, an experience which has led him to invest time and money himself in helping the young entrepreneurs of tomorrow. He is a regular speaker for Young Enterprise in the North East, and often helps out with the entrepreneurial courses run at the University of Newcastle.
