Colin Light

Colin is a Director in PwC’s strategy team which specialises in commercial and technology strategy across the international telecoms and media industries with a particular focus on delivering convergence in these businesses. Colin holds a Masters and PhD in Electrical Engineering.

His experience spans most aspects of the value chain for telecoms and media operators. He has extensive experience of market entry strategies, business plans and strategic reviews for these converging businesses, and has been directly involved in the launch of such operations. His recent relevant experience includes being seconded as Managing Director to launch a satellite TV business for a fixed line operator, and numerous strategy review assignments in entertainment and IPTV.

This experience has been gained with PwC and Hutchison 3G UK, the UK’s first 3G mobile operator where he was Senior Financial Analyst (2000-2001) and latterly Principal Technology Strategist (2001-2003).
