Niko Waesche
Niko is a media and internet consultant with deep operational experience. As a Partner at IBM Global Business Services, he currently serves as the Media Industry Leader for Europe and leads IBM’s outsourcing project with a large European broadcaster. In his consulting role, he led several strategy consulting projects for European clients and was responsible for several archive, production and newsroom system projects carried out by IBM. From 1999 to 2001, Niko managed the Central European activities of a US$400m venture capital fund (GRP Partners) which invests in media, internet and retail companies. Niko holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics, a M.A. from the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main, and a B.A. from Brown University.
