Konstantin Glasman
Konstantin Glasman graduated from St.Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, Russia, with a degree in radio engineering. He received his Ph.D. in film and television technology from St.Petersburg University of Film and Television in 1981 and is now Professor and Head of Video Systems Department of St.Petersburg State University of Film and Television.
He has published more than 100 papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He was General Chair of the IEEE ISCE 2006. He is a member of the IABM Peter Wayne Award for Design & Innovation Panel. His main research interests include image processing; visual quality aspects of video coding; quality evaluation of image in digital television systems with video compression; and multimedia resource allocation.
He is a member of SMPTE and IEEE.
