The 2018 Bafta Craft awards celebrated the best behind the scenes talent, honouring Game of Thrones with three awards including a special award for “pushing boundaries” and contributing to revolutionising the production industry.

Game of Thrones: Scooped three 2018 Bafta Awards

BBC’s Three Girls won three awards for true-life drama based on events in Rochdale; Philippa Lowthorpe was awarded Director: Fiction. Úna Ní Dhonghaíle received the Bafta for Editing: Fiction and Nicole Taylor was recognised in the Writer: Drama category.

The award for Breakthrough Talent shone a light on the very best emerging behind-the-scenes talent and was awarded to writers Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper for their comedy series This Country.

The Bafta for Writer: Comedy was awarded to longtime writing partners Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith for Inside No. 9, the second Bafta of their careers.
