21st Century Fox Chief Executive James Murdoch will deliver a keynote address to delegates at the upcoming RTS convention. 

Titled A World of Opportunity, the biennial event will take place from 13-15 September in Cambridge.

The event will focus on creating great content, growing the right skills and fielding the right people for the job.

Along with Fox CEO James Murdoch, other global media and entertainment leaders will discuss how policymakers can best enable the industry to succeed.

The convention is co-chaired by Sky Group Chief Operating Officer Andrew Griffith and Sky Managing Director of Content Gary Davey.

James Murdoch is Chief Executive Officer of 21st Century Fox, one of the world’s leading portfolios of cable, broadcast, film, pay-TV and satellite assets.  

Murdoch has held a succession of leadership roles over his nearly two-decade career with the Company, culminating in his appointment to CEO in 2015.

Over that period, he has been a key driver of the Company’s domestic and international expansion, having previously served as Co-Chief Operating Officer, and, prior to that, as Chairman and CEO for Europe and Asia, as well as Chairman of BSkyB, Sky Deutschland, and Sky Italia, the businesses that now comprise the pan-European Sky group.  

His operational experience also includes tenures as CEO of both BSkyB and Indian entertainment broadcaster Star.
