Emily Eddey

Head of Post Production & Mastering, Amazon Original Movies

Emily is currently Prime Video’s Head of Content for their X-Ray division. Here she oversees a world-class team of creative producers delivering premiere bonus content to customers around the planet. Prior to this role, she oversaw Post Operations for Amazon Studios’ Film division. There she led an incredible team of Post, Delivery, and Localization Executives delivering high quality films to all Prime subscribers.

Prior to working at Amazon, Emily was Vice President of Operations at Light Iron, a Post Production facility specializing in on-set dailies, color correction, and delivery. In 2013 she relocated to New York to help start Light Iron’s SoHo facility. In 2014 Emily had to see about a boy and moved back to Los Angeles where she continued Bi-Coastal management.

Along with long-distance relationships, Emily has extensive experience in content creation from script to execution, file-based acquisition (4K-8K), traditional film workflows, digital intermediate (SDR and HDR), localization, and streaming/theatrical distribution. To date, She has worked on 70+ films and series domestically and internationally.

When Emily is not working she enjoys reading, eating Nutella out of the jar, and a good cry from those videos that show soldiers reuniting with their children. Emily is happily married to the boy she came back for. The two recently celebrated the birth of their first baby who is now laughing as much as they are.
