Vice President, Data Center Group (DCG) & General Manager, Visual Cloud Division (VCD)Intel Corporation

Lynn A. Comp is a vice president of the Data Center Group and general manager of the Visual Cloud Division within the Network and Custom Logic Group at Intel Corporation.  She is responsible for leading the visual cloud division, with a mission to simplify and accelerate the delivery of compelling visual experiences from communications service providers, cloud service providers, and a wide variety of enterprises.  As part of the Intel Data Center Group, she oversees the strategy and execution of hardware and software deliverables for compelling solutions in media processing, immersive media, media analytics, and cloud graphics.  
  
Comp joined Intel in 1999 as part of Intel’s acquisition of Digital Semiconductor’s StrongARM processor team.  She has extensive experience in marketing, product management, product planning, and strategy development across software, hardware, cloud, and communications service providers (CoSPs).  She has driven cross-domain and cross-industry innovation from the early days of data plan development kit (DPDK) through to the recent Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor launch where Intel and AT&T redefined “CoSP time to market”.  Her passion is building world-class, high-performing teams by aligning the passions, skills and career aspirations of the team members with the goals of the organization.    
  
Comp has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from University of Phoenix.
