Cloud storage and data management specialist, Tiger Technology, is demonstrating how its systems can help customers migrate legacy archive content from tape to cloud or hybrid cloud systems, particularly using Amazon Web Services.

The Tiger stand is connected to AWS in Hall 5 to show content distribution and cloud applications and other services. It demonstrates files being restored from tape using Media Translation technology and indexed by Overcast (5.C80) HQ cloud media asset management software, with everything integrated through Tiger Bridge.

Bridging the gap between tape and cloud

The latest version of Tiger Bridge speeds up retrieving data thanks to a new partial restore feature. This enables users to gain time and save on storage space by restoring only the minimum amount of data needed.

Tiger systems also integrate with Spectra Logic (7.B50) and Qualstar (10.E50) archiving and backup applications, and it is showing its workflow and data management tools integrated into ERA cloud storage and content creation systems.

The company has extended its partner network with Nexsan, which will offer Tiger Technology collaborative content creation and media management software for its storage systems.

Tiger Technology is exhibiting at IBC2019 on Stand 7.B58.
