Has IBC come at a good time for the electronic media industry? Why is this?
IBC is an ideal TV convention from a product, technology and commercial planning perspective. The entire broadcast world gathers here in Amsterdam after the summer break to plan the rest of the year. This makes IBC a very timely conference and exhibition for the business of TV.

We have been coming to IBC and exhibiting for the last 12 years and it has always proved to be both socially and commercially important to meet and greet our colleagues in the TV tech industry. I would say the IBC always helps in finalising many technology development plans across the industry.

What do you think are the key developments in, or threats to, your market sector at the current time?
Streaming TV tech is still in a nascent investment stage within its life-cycle while it works alongside the existing broadcast industry within the TV space. Whilst the foundation for streaming technologies is in place now, topics of quality, scalability and costs are both developments and threats. The fast-paced growth of the technology always requires standardisation, agreements and quality control. There are many companies who are trying to solve this concern, which is taking precedence within the space today.

Why should delegates visit your stand at IBC?
Norigin Media is exhibiting in Hall 14 along with other TV tech companies with expertise in streaming solutions and services. At the Norigin Media exhibit, which is right beside the Google stand, we will have live demos of our Streaming Ad Detection tech, which is a completely new direction for Norigin Media in AdTech. We will also be demonstrating our TV Apps building framework. Come and see our developers build apps within 100 seconds! If not for the demos, come and say hello to our social bunch of folks from Scandinavia!
