Dennis Bergkamp, Edwin van der Sar and John Heitinga are among the Dutch stars set to play in a charity fundraising match as part of IBC’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

Registrations are now open for anyone who would like to line up for the IBC Legends against Lucky Ajax, a team made up of former professional footballers.

With free entry to the stadium spectators are encouraged to watch the game, which will kick off at 6.30pm on 16 September at Friendship Sports Centre, Amsterdam.

All funds raised will go to the Friendship Sports Centre and the Edwin van der Sar Foundation.

Both charities provide support and rehabilitation to improve the lives of children and adults faced with illnesses or disabilities by providing the opportunity to take part in activities that aren’t readily available to them.

It is the parent charity and home of Only Friends, The Edwin van der Sar Foundation and several other charities. The monies will be received by the FSC and distributed to the charities.

Only Friends aims to offer an increased quality of life for children through participation in team sports.

The Edwin van der Sar Foundation implements projects to support people with brain injuries through rehabilitation, participation and prevention.
