Rob Ambrose, Co-Founder and Research Director, Caretta Research
Rob is a consultant, industry analyst, writer and technologist advising international broadcast and media companies, technology vendors and industry associations. He works closely with the IBC conference and is a regular producer and host of IBC365 webinars.
As co-founder of Caretta Research, Rob is working with a team of leading media-tech analysts to transform traditional industry research by focusing on technology buyers and their project priorities, budgets, decisions and choice of vendors.
He supports multiple leading broadcast technology suppliers on product and market strategy, and is advising leading broadcasters and OTT platforms. Rob holds an MBA with Distinction from Imperial College, London.
Tobias Froehlich, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, TeraVolt
Tobias is charged with the visions and innovations for TeraVolt’s products, solutions and digital formats. The former radio presenter has a long history in the TV and media business. Before founding the company in 2006, he worked at production house and format creators Me, Myself & Eye as Executive Producer leading the digital department and developing digital product strategies and new TV formats. At publishing house Milchstraße, he was the Head of Editorial Department in charge of the transformation from print to TV and web-TV formats which he developed and produced.
In addition, he launched the music television channel VH-1 and MTV Germany and headed the editorial department for several TV programmes for Me, Myself & Eye.
Privately, Tobias loves sports, actively running, snowboarding and hiking, on screen almost every sort of sport: football, basketball, curling. His love for music made him brought him to radio at his young age. He is also passionate at the turn-tables and plays drums.
Andy Isaacs, Head of Data & Analytics, UKTV
As Head of Data and Analytics for UKTV, Andy works mainly on the video-on-demand product, UKTV Play. He is responsible for all elements of the customer data journey including digital analytics, data architecture, data management, data science, recommendation engines, dashboards and insights.
He has worked in media and advertising for over 15 years, as an analyst, marketing scientist, strategy consultant and market researcher at companies including the BBC, PHD and IMG.
Andy has a first class degree in economics from the University of Cambridge and a masters in social research from the University of Warwick.
