Julián Fernández-Campón, CTO at Tedial, is recognized throughout the industry as a thought leader who has leveraged his technical proficiency and extraordinary grasp of broadcast infrastructures to develop cutting-edge solutions that deliver financial and operational benefits. He is also an accomplished lecturer who has been recruited by numerous industry organizations, including IABM, SMPTE, HPA and NAB, to share his expertise regarding IMF, maximizing MAMs, and MAMs in the Cloud at technical forums.

Fernandez-Campon has been with Tedial for twenty years, where his contributions have had a major impact on all aspects of the company’s products, solutions design, platform architecture and services. He’s been key in leading the transition in recent years to meet the new challenges in the market, with the adoption of the latest technologies in Tedial’s portfolio and the company’s transformation to DevOps. His strong background in Computer Science and his master’s degree in Telecommunications and Robotics serve as the foundation for his continuously expanding knowledge base and expertise in new technologies.

Angus Gairdner, Group Content Experience Director, Sky

With 20 years of TV and content operations experience, Angus is responsible for the operational end-to-end health and performance of the Sky’s Group content supply chain, ensuring content reaches customers on time, and to specification. Angus leads linear and on-demand scheduling operations and rights management capabilities across the Sky Group as part of content eXperience & distribution operations, and works with the wider content technology & innovation teams defining the future strategic direction of the supply chain, having developed the group operating model for the content supply chain organisation in 2019. 

Prior to returning to Sky in 2010, Angus spent 6 years in internet gaming as Director of Broadcasting at the Poker Channel, operating, then, Europe’s largest gaming TV channel for the Gaming Media Group, broadcasting to 30 million households across 30 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Originally trained as a Commercial Property Surveyor, a brief spell in radio at UKRD (now Bauer) led to his initial role at Sky in 2000 before leaving to join GMG in 2005.

Mike Palmer, Senior Director Media Management, Sinclair Broadcast

Mike Palmer leads media management strategy across the varied Sinclair business verticals, including linear and non-linear distribution of entertainment, news and sports, with particular focus on transition of the Bally’s Sports Networks and transformation/evolution of shared core media services for the entire group.

Prior to joining Sinclair in 2020, Palmers’s contributions to broadcast have included the development of operational best-practice for satellite transmission and DBS broadcast in North America, leadership of an international Emmy-winning standards group, and contributions to the design of multiple award-winning news and media management products used by broadcasters across the globe.

Arjun Ramamurthy

Arjun Ramamurthy, Global CTO, Ateliere

Arjun brings a rare blend of experience and vision, working with senior leadership to build upon the company’s already strong position in the media technology marketplace and ensure that the Ateliere technology stack meets and exceeds customer demands and expectations.

He was most recently the Senior Vice President of Technology at Twentieth Century Fox/Disney, where he was responsible for setting the technology direction for Motion Picture and TV Production, post production, digital content processing and downstream distribution, and digital archiving. In addition, he was responsible for outlining and defining the next generation workflow throughout the organization, as well as the introduction of new technology and toolsets into the production.

All together he has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, and was previously with Deluxe’s EFILM facility. Prior to that, he also worked with Warner Bros.’ Technical Operations and Feature Animation.

Arjun is an active member of SMPTE, IEEE, and has chaired and contributed on a variety of technical committees and standards. He holds several patents in the area of Digital Image Processing and Media Post Production. He is also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a member of the Academy’s Scientific and Technology Council and, a fellow of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.
