There are Information Desks at the event to provide all the information you need about IBC, the RAI and Amsterdam in general. These desks will be open from Thursday 6 September to Tuesday 11 September 2012.

In addition to the Information Desks, there will be people walking the exhibition floor with the same information which is available at the Information Desks.

IBC will, wherever possible, accommodate religious needs where the timing of the event causes difficulties for attendees. A quiet/prayer room with washing facilities is located in the Elicium Passage. Please contact exhibition2012@ibc.org with any questions you may have.

Getting to the RAI
The Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre is situated next to Amsterdam’s A10 orbital motorway (exit S 109). The RAI is most easily accessible by tram, taxi and airport/hotel shuttle. For more information on these forms of travel please see below or our ‘Getting Around’ page.

Trams and Buses
Amsterdam has an extensive network of trams, buses and metros (subways). You can get to any destination within the city centre from another in less than an hour. They are frequent, regular and are free with your IBC 5-day travel pass, which could be collected from the IBC information points.

Trains
The RAI has its own train station and is less than 10 minutes from Schiphol Airport by rail. You can buy train tickets from the yellow ticket machines or at the ticket offices, both located close to the platforms.

Taxis
Licensed taxis in Amsterdam are generally modern and comfortable. Taxis can either be hailed or found at RAI’s main entrance. IBC’s preferred Taxi Company is TCA taxis. TCA are a reliable and friendly service that is always guaranteed to offer value for money. A typical taxi journey from the RAI into the city centre should cost around €15 and from the airport to the RAI it should cost around €40. You will find the taxi rank at the RAI next to the outside exhibition area.
