iWedia launches Teatro Factory

Connected TV software provider iWedia has launched Teatro Factory, described as an operator-facing software factory offering designed to help telecom and pay TV operators create, validate, deploy, operate, optimise, and evolve digital TV devices at scale.

iWedia says Teatro Factory is built for the growing complexity of set-top boxes, smart TVs, and Android TV environments. It brings together software delivery, automated validation, and device management into one framework for end-to-end digital terrestrial television (DTV) device operations.

The offering is structured around three integrated pillars: Teatro Cx, Teatro Test Lab, and Teatro Pulse.

Hans-Jürgen Desor, CEO of iWedia, said: "Teatro Factory represents the next phase of iWedia’s evolution: bringing software delivery, automated validation, and device operations together into a managed factory model for digital TV. After 15 years in this market, we believe the industry is moving beyond project-based execution toward continuous, intelligent device operations – and iWedia intends to lead that transition."
