Videlio Middle-East, the Dubai-based subsidiary of Videlio group, has been acquired by systems integrator Broadcast Solutions, to accelerate its operations in the Arab world and Africa.
It will merge with the existing Broadcast Solutions operation in the Middle East.
“This acquisition dramatically increases our ability to service regional broadcasters and propose fixed installations and facilities in addition to our OB vans and mobile platforms,” explained Stefan Breder, CEO of Broadcast Solutions.
With a team of a dozen in Dubai Media City, Videlio Middle-East was set-up five years ago to serve UAE- and GCC-based broadcasters. It also provides command and control systems to corporate and enterprise clients.
“Broadcast Solutions’ expertise in live production was a natural fit to our news, post-production and archive practice,” said Laurent Mairet, managing partner of Broadcast Solutions FZ.
