All-in-one streaming switcher: Roland’s new VR-50HD MK II in use

Also new is the V-600UHD HDR switcher, with UHD and 4K DCI 50/60p support, and the ability to extract up to eight Region of Interest crops from a single wide shot.

The V-60HD HD video switcher has received a V2.5 update, enabling primary parameter control of Panasonic PTZ cameras over LAN, eliminating the need for a dedicated camera controller. Support for JVC PTZ cameras arrived with Version 2.0.

The V-1HD HDMI switcher has been updated to Version 2.0, offering more PinP parameters to be adjusted, simplified menu navigation, and audio level meters added to the multi-view screen. There are also updates to the iPad, Mac and Windows remote control software for the V-1HD.

Roland’s V-02HD “video production problem solver” gets new features in Version 1.1, including operation from a new iPad remote control app. Users can switch video inputs with ease, mix audio with virtual faders, change settings, and create up to eight custom scenes using pre-set memories.
