The Blink500 is a lightweight, ultra-compact and easy-to-use two-person wireless microphone system for DSLR, mirrorless and other video cameras, and mobile devices that delivers detailed, broadcast quality sound, according to Saramonic.

It operates on the interference-free 2.4GHz spectrum and automatically hops to free channels to avoid static noise and audio dropouts.

It includes three kinds of receivers: the receiver with a 3.5mm output works with any devices with a 3.5mm audio input; the Lightning output receiver is designed for iOS devices; and the USB-C output receiver is for Android phones or tablets.

The clip-on transmitter has a built-in mic and it is small and light enough to clip to shirts and clothing, or the included SR-M1 professional lavalier microphone can be used. Saramonic claims that no technical knowledge of audio is required to use the system.
