Philip Nelson is the founder of Nelco Media, a boutique broadcast integrator/reseller that engineers next-generation live production workflows. Nelco specialises in “outside the box” projects for clients, including NBA, NFL Network, Caesars Entertainment, UNLV, U.S. Army, City of San Antonio and ACE Comic Con.
During his 20 years at NewTek, Nelson oversaw the cultivation of strategic customer relationships across all markets. Nelson has overseen numerous product launches, including TriCaster, VT (Video Toaster) and SpeedEDIT.
At NewTek, Nelson has forged successful relationships with the NBA, NFL, Disney, ESPN, Fox Sports, Microsoft, Cisco and MTV. Nelson was a Technical Emmy nominee for NewTek TriCaster.
Prior to joining NewTek, Nelson was an entrepreneur, focusing on live programming and postproduction and started the first flat rate ISP in Louisiana. Clients included Phil Robertson’s Duck Commander, Tim McGraw, San Antonio Spurs, The Smithereens, MTV, Coca-Cola and Georgia Pacific.
