Georgia Brown, the former Head of Amazon Studios Europe, has been appointed as Chief Content Officer of podcast subscription platform Podimo.
Headquartered in Copenhagen, Podimo said that Brown will lead its evolution into a global multi–platform company, including expansion into English language content.

Brown will lead content strategy across Podimo’s subscription platform and newly launched studios division, overseeing the production and rollout of original IP across podcasts, video, and digital formats.
At Amazon, Brown built the company’s regional presence from scratch, delivering shows such as Clarkson’s Farm, The Rig, the LOL: Last One Laughing and All or Nothing franchise.
Previously, Brown held senior roles in content distribution at Fremantle, Shine Group, and BBC Worldwide. In her new role, Brown joins Podimo’s leadership team, and will be based in London.
Brown was brought on by Podimo’s outgoing Chief Content Officer Sachin Doshi, who will step down from his role in September and take a position on Podimo’s board, while continuing to advise on the company’s expanding studios and platform strategies.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Podimo at such an exciting time,” said Brown. “The creator economy is experiencing rapid, transformative growth, reshaping how stories are told, shared, and monetised. The future of content lies in the convergence between the world of traditional entertainment and the dynamic, ever-evolving creator landscape. Podimo is uniquely positioned to empower creators to grow into media entrepreneurs, building sustainable businesses, and scaling their impact through premium, IP-led storytelling.”
“Podimo was built on strengthening relationships between creators and their audiences, helping them earn more and own their value,” said Founder and CEO Morten Strunge. “Under Georgia’s creative leadership and backed by Podimo’s strong tech and product foundation, we are positioning ourselves at the forefront of premium storytelling and platform innovation. We are grateful to Sachin for building such a strong foundation and are looking forward to continuing to work together in his new capacity.”
