Global studio operator Shadowbox Studios, the owner of Atlanta’s Shadowbox Studios in the US and Shinfield Studios in the UK, has appointed Mike Mosallam as its first Chief Operating Officer.
Shadowbox has also brought on board a new executive team to expand its global studio footprint, which includes plans for a new studio facility in Gold Coast, Australia.
Mosallam previously created and led the Studio Strategy and Operations division of Apple TV where he grew its global studio count significantly in two and a half years.
Mosallam also created the Production Planning arm of Netflix Studios, where he oversaw the implementation of their global studio real estate strategy.
Mosallam has brought together a new executive leadership team including VP of Global Sales Jennifer Roe Emery, VP of Studio Strategy Thomas Laub, VP of Global Operations Dean Horne, Director of UK and Europe Sales Beth Gallagher, Director of North American Sales Rebecca Riemersma, and Director of Atlanta Sales Jeremiah Cullen.
In the UK, Shinfield Studios has 18 sound stages while its site in Atlanta in the US, includes a nine-stage studio complex. Up to 10 sound stages, workshops, office spaces, a backlot, and training facilities are under planning in Yatala, Gold Coast, Australia.
