The company is showing its software, which aims to help content providers automate and optimise the process of transferring their video assets and metadata to distributors.

With Synq Media, content providers only need to upload each title and any associated assets once. Then the video files are processed into various qualities and the metadata is normalised or converted to any preferred standard, said the company.

Via a web dashboard, content providers can instantly grant distributors access to a collection of titles, giving them quick and secure access to the titles via an API, direct download via browser or Synq’s push-to-SFTP feature. Synq said this has proven to save a lot of time for content providers and distributors. In addition, content providers can dynamically update their titles, adding images, subtitles, cast information and more - ensuring total editorial control throughout the value-chain right through to the end user.

Synq is exhibiting at IBC2019 on Stand 8.C10 (Media City Bergen AS).
