After two years of virtual events, IBC warmly welcomes all exhibitors and visitors back to the RAI in Amsterdam for IBC2022 (9-12 September).

“We are thrilled to be able to bring the whole IBC community back live to discuss and gain mission-critical insights into the challenges and opportunities the M&E market faces as it looks to the future,” says Michael Crimp, Chief Executive Officer.

“The 2022 IBC Conference boasts a stellar line-up of visionary speakers from some of the world’s biggest media brands,” Crimp adds. “The range of top-quality speakers, in-depth panel discussions and cutting-edge technical paper presentations in store this year really speaks to the advances and changes our industry is seeing today.”

“The [new] Changemaker sessions largely focus on the people side of the business – matters such as culture, diversity, inclusion and approaches that help media companies find and keep the best talent, as well as ways to foster creativity. We want to play our role in driving positive change in media technology, so these new sessions enable the IBC community to learn from those that are pioneering best practice in these areas.”

On the show floor, almost 1,000 exhibitors have booked space, including industry leaders such as: Adobe, Amazon Web Services (AWS), ARRI, Avid, Blackmagic Design, Canon, Comcast, Edgio, EVS, Fraunhofer, Google, Grass Valley, Hewlett Packard, Imagine Communications, Lawo, LTN, Mediakind, Microsoft, Nagra, NEP Group, Net Insight, Red Bee Media, RED Digital Cinema, Riedel, Ross Video, Sony, Synamedia, Telstra and many more.

”Over 1,250 organisations will be sharing demonstrations and concrete examples of leading edge technologies at IBC2022.”

There are also many companies making their IBC debut this year, such as Ad Insertion Platform, AiMedia, Blitz micro, Ceeblue, Castify.ai, Castr Live Streaming, Green Streams, Igalia, LiveAPI, PikoTV, Planetcast International, Riverside.fm, and XroadMedia – to name just a few.

“The enthusiasm from across the industry to return to IBC has been fantastic to see,” says Steve Connolly, Director at IBC. “If you add in all the co-exhibitors and partnership pavilion exhibitors coming to the show, over 1,250 organisations will be sharing demonstrations and concrete examples of leading edge technologies.

“Technology has been forcibly accelerated across the industry over the last two years and exhibitors are keen to demonstrate these advances to customers and prospects they haven’t met in person for three years in some cases.”

Michael Crimp sums up the excitement. “IBC 2022 will be an exciting live event that gives every attendee the chance to gain valuable insights, share expertise and unlock new opportunities. We’ve already seen how the return of live events is reinvigorating the industry and, at IBC2022, we will enable everyone on our show floor to get back to business in the face-to-face way they love.”
