Live piracy has become a fast-moving, industrialised ecosystem where content is often exploited within minutes of distribution – making time the decisive factor in effective protection.
This webinar examines the current piracy landscape and the most prevalent attack vectors, the role of offshore hosting providers, and how systematic infringement enables scale, speed, and resilience across global networks. It also addresses the critical role of intermediaries such as internet service providers (ISPs), whose responsiveness directly affects enforcement outcomes in live scenarios.
The discussion explores why antipiracy must shift from reactive, post-mortem responses to preventive, real-time strategies. It highlights the operational and structural hurdles that slow detection and takedown, and why these challenges are amplified in live sports and event-driven content. The overarching message is clear: safeguarding live value requires coordinated action, faster intervention, and a prevention-first approach that matches the pace of modern piracy.
