AI Insider has been launched at IBC2026, an AI-powered agent designed to turn the growing volume of data generated by streaming platforms into actionable business and operational intelligence.
Built directly into the analytics layer of the Zapflex video service platform from Setplex, AI Insider is designed to allow operators, broadcasters, and media owners to query platform data conversationally, rather than manually exporting and analysing multiple spreadsheets.
It can answer questions around channel performance, viewing behaviour, content engagement and platform errors, while enabling users to drill down into specific issues in real time.
Nelson Hulett, Regional VP, Americas, Setplex, said: “The data is there. The problem is what we do with the data.” He explained that AI Insider is designed to help operators use that information to support strategic decision-making.
The product was built natively around AI, rather than adding capabilities to an existing platform. “We are using AI as the core of the solution,” Hulett said.
The launch is part of Setplex’s broader expansion of AI integration, with metadata management and ingest workflows identified as potential next areas for development.
