Glensound has said that its decades of expertise in designing and manufacturing commentary boxes has resulted in its Express IP Mini, a compact and simple-to-operate two-user network audio commentary box.
The unit is easy to set up and features the familiar Glensound control surface. The company said the robust Express IP Mini is designed for both the occasional and the daily provider of commentary facilities, as it provides just enough of the required basic facilities for everyday commentary applications. With two talkback circuits and four inputs into the headphone mixer, the level of the commentators’ own voices can also be adjusted. Additionally, each microphone features a compressor/limiter circuit, preventing audio overload by an over-excited commentator. Power is via PoE, and the Express IP Mini can be connected to PoE enabled switches and midspan power sources.
