VideoClarity: Venue Player models now offer compressed file playback capabilities

Now, in the latest edition to the Venue Player systems, Video Clarity has provided added functionality to playback from native compressed files. This can be achieved via simple drag and drop or programmed selective playback functions.

According to Video Clarity, this new addition heralds an additional convenience factor for customers assessing video, since at times a compressed file playback function is necessary for quality lab visual assessments and test routines to occur.

The company notes that it also opens the door to new user requirements in the playback of high bit-rate mezzanine files or MPEG files for content in high-quality transmission and display applications.
