Multi slider manufacturer Waterbird has brought out a studio version that can carry a payload of 15kg, such as PTZ cameras or professional film equipment.
The new MS XL is also twice as wide (140mm) as its other multi sliders for more stability.
A carriage with ball bearings ensures smooth movement and the system comes with an XL motion controller with DMX capability for easy integration into existing control set ups. It can also be controlled with joysticks, pedals or Waterbird’s own DMX Master. The system can move at up to 1.4 metres per second.
The MS XL’s modular structure allows easy transport and quick setup. The track can be divided into small segments that are connected with screws and the rails can be rolled up.
Prices start at €3350 for the carriage, cheeseplate, motion controller, motor, timing belt pulley and power supply, while the track costs from €1,680 per metre.
Waterbird is exhibiting at IBC2019 on Stand 12.E73.
