With more badge collection points – including offsite locations – an all-new online Attendee Portal and added functionality on the IBC app, there are plenty of ways to make sure your trip to IBC runs smoothly.

Beat the queues with extra badge collection points

There are also new ways to pick up your IBC badge this year. For those flying into Schiphol Airport, badges are available for collection in the arrivals hall by T4 (opposite Starbucks). This service is available on Thursday 14 (06:00-22:00) and Friday 15 September (06:00-14:00).

Attendees arriving in Amsterdam by train can collect badges in the Iamsterdam store in Central Station on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 September.

It is also possible to pick up badges at six other offsite collection points: Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky; Double Tree by Hilton; Amsterdam Marriott; Apollo Hotel Amsterdam; Mercure Amsterdam City; and the Apollo Leonardo Royal.

“We recognised that there were some long queues to access IBC last year and so we’ve added a whole host of additional badge collection points around Amsterdam to make the process quicker and smoother for everyone,” said Jo Mayer, Marketing Consultant, IBC. “You can now pick up your badge when you land, at Central Station, at selected hotels or at the RAI. This should minimise waiting times and, along with additional tools such as the app and the Attendee Portal, will help you personalise your visit and make the most of your time at the show.”

IBC attendees should also be sure to download the IBC app ahead of the show. Not only does this now include the functionality to view and book meetings with exhibitors before the show, it also allows attendees to browse the session agenda and customise schedules, as well as being able to view an interactive floor plan for ease of navigation around the RAI.

The app also features a travel page for shuttle times to the airport, flight status and wait times at security and passport control. You can also view your registration QR code and collect your show badge onsite hassle-free.

“Combined, we hope these initiatives will help all attendees enjoy the show, remove pressure on badge collection points and help with show planning,” added Mayer.
