ISO 27001 certification demonstrates continued commitment to information security and data privacy

Information security and data privacy are vital to Rohde & Schwarz customers and partners. The company’s information security management system (ISMS) covers product development and implementation for customer projects and systems. The system is also used when operating and managing internal IT services and support processes, such as HR and corporate security. It has a special focus on secure communications for naval systems and tactical communications and critical infrastructure, such as air traffic control, as well as cybersecurity.

“The certification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to information security and data privacy, while ensuring our communications solutions are developed and deployed in line with the highest security standards,” explained Marius Münstermann, vice president market segment ATC at Rohde & Schwarz. “Our partners can also trust we have addressed, implemented and properly checked the security and privacy of their data and information in our organisation throughout our customer relationship.”

ISO/IEC 27001 is a widely used ISMS standard. It enables organisations of any kind to manage the security of their own information assets as well as those entrusted to them by third parties during joint projects.
