Validation, correction and editing of recorded material takes one step

This system features functions that enable an effective approach to industrial digitization projects by combining validation, correction and editing of recorded material into one, single step within the overall workflow. Interaction between QualityChecker and MediaButler, NOA’s transcoding application, has been optimised to efficiently transfer a set of tasks from the analogue to the digital domain, thereby streamlining key outgest processes in video digitisation projects.

Functions include the easy annotation of the current state of audio roles in QualityChecker, enabling MediaButler to shuffle and R128 level-correct audio pairs of the recorded video during transcoding to the final file according to predefined processing rules. This also makes it possible to adjust chrominance and luminance levels to within an allowed broadcast range.

NOA is exhibiting at IBC2019 on Stand 8.D91.
