IMG has appointed Sally Brown and Steve Rudge as Vice Presidents and Co-Heads of Multisport Content for its production business.

In the newly created roles, Brown and Rudge will oversee IMG’s production relationships with the likes of UFC, EuroLeague, Super League Rugby, World’s Strongest Man, World Championship Snooker and Grand Slam Tennis.

The pair will also be responsible for driving business development and new commercial opportunities leveraging other strategic areas within IMG across digital, sales, data and technology.

Brown most recently served as Executive Producer and Commissioning Editor for BT Sport Films and will be based at IMG’s Stockley Park studios and offices in London. Before her departure, she had served as a member of the BT Sport senior management team since 2018, and previously worked as a member of the Sky Sports live multisport production team.

Brown’s production credits include the Irish rugby film Shoulder to Shoulder, motor sport documentary True Grit, and Meatball Molly about the first English woman to win a UFC fight. She will take up her new role at IMG in September.

1. IMG - Steve Rudge

Rudge is set to join IMG in October from his previous role as Head of Football at BBC Sport and will be based in IMG’s Leeds production centre, which was opened last year. Recently he has been responsible for delivering the BBC’s coverage of major football tournaments including overseeing the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2022 UEFA Women’s Euros.

He led the BBC’s Premier League, FA Cup and Women’s Super League coverage and, in a career spanning over 20 years, also contributed to the BBC’s production of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and The Championships, Wimbledon.

IMG produces live coverage for multiple sports and leagues from its studio facilities at Stockley Park. This includes the Premier League, English Football League, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, CBS’ UEFA Champions League and Europa League coverage, DP World Tour, The Ryder Cup and ATP Tour. It is currently producing its coverage of Super League Rugby from its production centre in Leeds, which also provides content for several high-profile productions.
