Channel 4 took home seven awards, with RED Production Company’s It’s a Sin and Working Title Television’s We are Lady Parts taking the spotlight with three wins each. Peter Hoar won the Director – Drama for his series It’s a Sin, which was also presented with the Editing – Drama and Production Design – Drama awards. Whilst We Are Lady Parts swept up awards for Editing – Entertainment and Comedy, Make-Up Design – Entertainment and Non-Drama, and Production Design – Entertainment and Non-Drama.

The RTS Special Award was presented to ITV for Lifted Entertainment’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, for their rapid and successful adaptation due to the pandemic to relocate their large team to Wales, and for consistently performing as one of the biggest entertainment shows throughout its 20 series.

The Outstanding Achievement Award was presented to Sally Debonnaire, Global Director of Production at ITV Studios, for setting a platinum standard for TV production over the past 30 years in her work on critically acclaimed series including iconic titles Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Grand Designs, The Apprentice, Top Gear and Frozen Planet.
