Netflix will stream US morning radio show The Breakfast Club daily on its platform from 1 June 2026, marking the streamer’s first daily live programme.
Co-hosted by Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy, and Jess Hilarious, the iHeartMedia show will air as a live video show on Netflix for three hours each weekday.
As well as underlining Netflix’s push into live programming, the deal highlights the streamer’s growing investment in the podcast space and creator-driven programming.
The radio broadcast will continue to include traditional commercial breaks, but Netflix viewers will have the breaks filled by bonus segments, behind-the-scenes moments, extended discussions, and original content.
This expansion builds on iHeartMedia and Netflix’s previously announced exclusive video podcast collaboration, unveiled in December 2025.
Launched in 2010 in New York, The Breakfast Club’s guests include former President Barack Obama, former President Joe Biden, former Vice President Kamala Harris, Jay-Z, Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar, Kevin Hart, and Snoop Dogg.
While The Breakfast Club is Netflix’s first daily live show, it’s not its first live programming. The Bill Simmons Podcast has streamed live on Netflix on Sunday nights, and the company has increasingly invested in live offerings, including NFL games, live comedy, and events like Alex Honnold’s free solo climb of the Taipei 101 tower in Taiwan.
“The Breakfast Club has been a cultural staple for years, and we’re thrilled to make it our first daily live morning show on Netflix,” said Lauren Smith, Vice President (VP) of Content Licensing and Programming Strategy at Netflix. "Every weekday, members can drop into nearly three hours of live, unfiltered conversation, plus exclusive moments they won’t hear anywhere else. It’s a big step forward in how we bring culturally defining audio-first franchises to life for Netflix audiences around the world, and we’re excited to deepen our partnership with iHeartMedia.”
Netflix recently introduced a vertical video feed called Clips intended to help users discover new content on its mobile app. Discover more here.
