Dolby OptiView will showcase its new AI-powered Sports Intelligence Platform at IBC2026 next week, promising more personalised fan engagement, automated highlights and smarter sports streaming.
The platform is the newest addition to the live sports streaming specialist’s portfolio, joining its Player, Streaming, and Ads solutions. It is designed to understand viewer engagement in real time, detect key moments, and assemble highlights automatically.
According to the company, rather than simply generating clips, it interprets what matters to different audiences and responds with content shaped by context, not just events. The result is a personalised viewer experience that keeps fans in the moment, it noted.
Dolby OptiView further claimed that the Sports Intelligence Platform drives longer viewing through relevance, directly addressing the metrics that matter, for example, longer sessions, stronger subscriber retention, and deeper loyalty. The platform also unlocks new monetisation opportunities through smarter, more contextual ad placements while keeping fans in the moment, it concluded.
